When to use: Applied during the survey design phase, this question type helps Survey Administrators who want to extract rating information, and when similar questions can be combined into one grid.

Advantages: This question type saves space by using the drop-down menus.

Disadvantages: Survey questions of this type should not be used when Survey Administrators are trying to extract open-ended information, ranking information, or information from a multiple-choice question.
