The Multiple select check box question displays all answers vertically
below the question. To select an answer, respondents click the box to the
left of the desired answer option.
Best used when:
- There are only a few answer choices
- Multiple answers will be selected
Advantages:
- Respondents can select multiple answers
Limitations:
- Yields only close-ended data
- No ranking or rating data
- Takes up more space on the survey than drop-downs and radio buttons
