Survey Question Type: Multiple Select Check Box

What it does- This survey question displays all answers vertically below the question, and multiple answers can be selected.

When to use: This question type is used when the Survey Administrator has few answer choices, and provides the option for more than one answer to be selected.

Advantages: Used in survey design phase, this question conserves valuable space on the survey. Also, by having the ability to choose more than one answer, the information base with which to draw insights increases, allowing surveyors to gain deeper insight into the participants’ responses.

Disadvantages: Survey questions of this type should not be used when trying to extract open-ended information or trying to gauge the rating or rank of a particular survey issue. This question type uses more space than other drop-down or vertical types.
