When to use: Survey questions of this type should be used when trying to gain insight on what percentage of something (time, money, effort, etc.) respondents are using in a particular context. Advantages: This question type can require respondents to either enter values that total a desired amount OR require no validation. In addition, the Survey Creator has the flexibility to show or hide the sum of the values entered into the field. Disadvantages: This type of survey question shouldn't be used when trying to extract open-ended, rating, ranking, or multi-select information on a particular survey issue. ![]() |
