display all answers vertically below the question.
To select an answer option, respondents click the white circle to the left
of the desired answer option.
Best used when:
- There are only a few answer choices
- Only one answer will be selected
Advantages:
- Conserves space
- Increases response rates
Limitations:
- Yields only close-ended data
- No ranking or rating data
- Respondent chooses only one answer
- Displays only a few answer options
