Survey Question Type: Ranking

What it does- Implemented during survey design, this question type allows the respondent to rank the listed answers in order of importance.

When to use: Survey Questions of this type allow for greater flexibility in determining the importance or value of an answer choice provided.

Advantages: The drop-downs conserve valuable survey space and allow the respondent to rank a series of similar answers in one question. Survey creators also can modify the phrasing of the rank intervals.

Disadvantages: This type of survey question should not be used when trying to extract open-ended, rating, or multi-select information.
