Sample Reporting Question
I need to combine response data from a group of paper-based surveys with data
from our online surveys to run reports on all of the data. How do I do that?
SAM’s Answer
Import the response data from the paper-based survey into the platform and then
under Report Manager, click “Merged Reports”. You’ll be asked to specify how
many surveys you want to merge, which type of report you want to generate, and
which questions, if not all of them, you want to merge. You will then have a
full aggregation of data from multiple surveys to analyze and report on.

survey response data.
SAMs can help you with tasks like:
- aggregation of multi-modal survey data (i.e. responses
collected from multiple mediums like online, paper-based, telephone, etc.)
- exporting of survey data into applications like Excel,
CSV, and SPSS for further analysis and collaboration.
Sample Data Processing Question
We want to compare and contrast the data from last year’s employee satisfaction
survey with that of this year’s survey. Last year’s survey data is in Excel
spreadsheet format and this year’s data is stored within Zarca’s platform. How
do we effectively analyze these two studies?
SAM’s Answer
The best method to compare/contrast a survey done within the platform with an
external survey is to import the data from the external survey directly into a
new survey in Zarca’s system. This way, you’ll be able to analyze results of
both surveys within the platform, using any of our 11 robust “out-of-box”
reports.
