Identify Who Will Participate in Surveys and When They Were Last Surveyed

Know the Status of Your Survey Participants

Targeting your survey participants is tied directly with what issue is being researched. There are many stakeholders in a company or organization, but in pinpointing who will be taking surveys, you are simply identifying who is affected by the issue and in what way.

It is up to whoever sponsors the survey to determine the level of the survey granularity.

For example, knowing that you have to administer a semi-annual customer satisfaction survey, you have to identify which customers you are surveying. Is it all of your customers, or only a segment of customers who purchased a particular product?
